Man stole three charity boxes

A man has been remanded in custody after denying he stole three charity boxes and two bottles of whiskey.

Daniel Davies, 29, of no fixed address, appeared before Wigan justices to plead not guilty to taking the collection boxes and Jack Daniels from an address in Leigh. He will reappear via video link on December 14.
