Paedophile hunter's Wigan target awaits fate
A man detained in Wigan town centre after a sting by a 'paedophile hunter' has appeared in court.
Jack Delamere, 28, of Brougham Avenue, Birkenhead, pleaded guilty to attempting to meet a girl under 16 and attempting to communicate with a girl to obtain sexual gratification between August 18 and 21.
The case was adjourned by Wigan and Leigh magistrates for sentencing by a Bolton Crown Court judge on November 8 and Delamere was remanded on bail.
He is the latest of several men to be trapped by “paedophile hunters” in Wigan in the last year.
