The necklace, containing the ashes and thumb print of the victim’s late husband, was stolen with other items from a parked vehicle in Standfield Drive, Worsley on Thursday September 8 after being inadvertently left in it.

It is a silver chain with a green and silver round pendant and may have been dumped since when the thief realised it wasn’t worth much in cash terms.
