Police release CCTV image in probe into man being 'verbally abusive' to a mum at a Leigh supermarket
A CCTV image has been released by police looking to trace a man following an incident at an Asda store.
Police are investigating reports that a man was verbally abusive and used threatening behaviour towards staff and customers at a Wigan borough supermarket.
They have released a photograph of someone they would like to speak to about the incident last month.
A post on Wigan and Leigh police’s Facebook page said: “We would like to speak to this man as we believe he can assist with our enquiries into verbal abuse and threatening behaviour towards staff and customers at Asda on Priestners Way, Leigh on Wednesday 21 October at 7.45am.
“It has been reported that the male has entered into the store and been verbally abusive towards a female victim who was shopping with her baby in a pram.
