Police probe robbery at borough shop

Police are investigating a robbery at a borough shop.

Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a robbery at the Spar store in Borsdane Avenue, Hindley, shortly before 5.30pm on Sunday.

The force did not disclose how many suspects were involved in the incident, nor whether anything was taken from the shop.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "At around 5.20pm on Sunday 27 December 2020, police were called to a report of a robbery at a business on Borsdane Avenue, Hindley.

"Officers attended.

"An investigation is underway.
