Police release images of man they want to speak to over suspected arson incident in Wigan

Police were called to reports of a blaze at Hardings Tyres on Moat House Street in the early hours of Friday July 10.

The fire caused damage to numerous nearby cars and businesses and local houses also became covered with debris from the tyres.

It is believed damage caused by the blaze will ultimately equate to a six-figure sum.

Images released by police today (Friday August 28) show a man in a grey hooded top, with a slim build and a distinctive walk, on Moat House Street around the time of the attack.

Officers would like to speak to him in connection with the incident.
