Serial Wigan criminal is put behind bars

Jake Farrell, 31, of Wakefield Street, Golborne, stood before Wigan justices to admit stealing binoculars, three knives and clothing belonging to Niall Bradley. The bench said he was being imprisoned for eight weeks due to his “many previous convictions for dishonesty” and he has previously disregarded court orders and committed this offence while on licence. He must pay £128 to victim services.
