A trial date has been fixed for an attempted murder case following an incident in Hindley on Christmas Day.
Devenn Sutherman, 25, has pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Scott Lathom at an address in Corner Lane on December 25.
He has also denied a charge of aggravated burglary, at the same property, namely that he attended with a knife, intending to inflict grievous bodily harm on Mr Lathom, and assaulting Nicola Taylor, on the same occasion.
Sutherman, of Nelson Square, Bolton, entered the pleas during a brief hearing via a video link at Bolton Crown Court.
Recorder of Bolton, Judge Timothy Clayson, adjourned the case for trial until June 4 at the same court and remanded Sutherman in custody.
