Kyle Gill, of Norfolk Street in Newtown, had previously pleaded not guilty to 14 offences, most of which allegedly involved a boy aged between 12 and 14 between December 2022 and November 2023: inciting him to engage in sexual activity, sexually touching him and adult sexual activity with him.

He denied another charge of sexually assaulting a woman on Christmas Day 2023, and a further accusation of sexually assaulting a girl of 14 between June 2017 and June 2018.

A trial had been scheduled for this month at Bolton Crown Court, but the hearing was told that due to backlogs it would now have to be moved to January 24 2028.
