Uninsured Wigan driver crashed car

An unlicensed and uninsured driver who drove off after crashing into another car must carry out community service.

Craig Grimley, 33, of Laithwaite Road, Worsley Hall, stood before Wigan magistrates to admit failing to stop after an accident between his Vauxhall Zafira and a Ford Focus on Scot Lane on September 10.

He was ordered to complete 80 days of unpaid work, complete 10 days of rehabilitation activities.

He was also ordered pay £119 in court costs and a victim services surcharge.
