Wigan 'crack' dealer spared jail

A young Wigan man who peddled hard drugs has avoided an immediate spell in prison.

Connor Rigby, 21, of Bryham Street, Scholes, had already admitted possessing “crack” cocaine and heroin on January 24, 2019, with intent to supply. Rigby has now been given a 24-month prison sentence by a Bolton judge, although it was suspended for two years.

He must also complete 20 days of rehab activities, and be the subject of a 12-month electronically-monitored night curfew.
