Wigan man accused of drugs offence is due in court

A Wigan man is among four due to appear in court today in connection with drugs offences.

David Hunter, 48, of Larch Close, Billinge, was charged with conspiracy to supply class B controlled drugs.

He was one of four men charged with drugs offences following arrests made on Thursday morning across St Helens and Widnes.

Stephen Piert, 27, of Harlow Close, St Helens, faces the same charge, while Ricardo Hughes, 53, of Rock Lane, Widnes, and Chris Dooley, 35, of Welwyn Close, St Helens, were charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B controlled drugs.

All four men were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Wirral Magistrates' Court on Friday morning.
