Wigan man charged over Tesco cash raid

A man has denied stealing £2,280 in cash from a Wigan mini-market.

Jason Kelly, 35, of School Lane, Scholes, is charged with the raid on the Tesco Express at Whelley which is alleged to have taken place on November 25, 2018.

The case was sent by Wigan and Leigh magistrates to be heard by a Bolton Crown Court judge on August 19 and Kelly was released on unconditional bail until then.
