Wigan man found guilty of attacking woman

A man has been convicted of attacking a woman and smashing her phone.

Ivan Marsay had denied assaulting Stephanie Gaskell on February 10 and causing £400 to her Samsung S10 mobile the same day. But following a trial by Wigan magistrates the 59-year-old of Anthorn Road, Goose Green, was found guilty. He will be sentenced on January 21.
