Wigan man who assaulted three people awaits sentence
Mark Ricketts, from Pemberton, pleaded guilty to three charges of assault by beating when he appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court.
He admitted an attack on Jade Shaw on May 9 and also pleaded guilty to assaulting both Tim Barton and Christine Shaw on or about the same date.
The case has now been adjourned by the bench in order to allow the probation service to prepare a pre-sentence report on 53-year-old Ricketts, of Holden Walk.
He will now return to the magistrates’ court for a sentencing hearing on Friday November 6 and in the meantime has been released on unconditional bail.
