A plasterer allegedly headbutted a customer during a row about his work, a court heard.

Daniel Roughley, 33, of Saddleback Road, Norley, denied assaulting Paul Gibson-Thomas by beating when he appeared before Wigan justices. The offence is alleged to have happened in Skelmersdale on November 18.

A trial will be held on June 1 at Wigan Magistrates’ Court. Roughley was remanded on unconditional bail until then.
