Cyclists can have their bikes security marked and receive a free lock at a police event in Wigan
Bike marking events are held regularly by police in Wigan.

Wigan town centre neighbourhood policing team will be at Wigan bus station from 3pm to 8pm on Tuesday, November 18 to security mark and register bicycles.
A police spokesman said: “Security marking significantly reduces the likelihood of theft and increases the chances of police being able to identify and return a stolen cycle to its rightful owner should it unfortunately be taken.
“In addition, a limited number of free bike locks will be available for those looking to further enhance the security of their cycles.”
