Wigan shoplifter jailed for stealing £40 of coffee and disinfectant from shop

A notorious Wigan thief is back behind bars for another four weeks after being caught shoplifting again.

Arthur McLean, 50, of no fixed address, appeared before local justices to admit taking coffee and disinfectant worth £40 from Bargain Buys on February 21.

The crime was aggravated by the fact that it was committed while he was the subject of a criminal behaviour order and suspended sentence.
