Wigan woman accused of violent pub attack changes her plea

A Wigan woman has admitted to carrying out a violent attack in a pub.

Demi James, from Platt Bridge, had initially denied the charge of maliciously wounding Stacey Finney at the Mountain Dew in Atherton.

But on her first appearance before a Bolton Crown Court judge, the 24-year-old, who gave a care of address in Ingram Street, changed her plea to guilty.

She will be sentenced on October 5.
