Delays on motorway
Drivers are warned there are currently delays on the M6 motorway through Wigan.
Highways England has reported that congestion is causing delays of around 15 minutes on the M6 southbound between junctions 27 at Standish and 25 at Marus Bridge.
Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume shortly.
