Driver taken to hospital after crash at roundabout in Wigan

Emergency services were called to Gibfield Park Avenue in Atherton at 6.30am on Sunday for the incident, which involved one vehicle.

The woman suffered injuries which were not thought to be serious and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Firefighters from Wigan attended to make the car safe and move it to the side of the road.
