Firefighters free man from overturned car after early morning collision
A man trapped in his car after crashing into a wall was cut free from the wreckage by firefighters.

A crew from Wigan fire station was called to reports of a road traffic collision in Chorley Road, Standish, around 1.30am today, Friday August 21.
On arrival, they found that a single car had come into contact with a garden wall and flipped onto its side. One male was trapped in the car, and was extricated by fire service personnel using cutting equipment.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The incident is now being dealt with by the police, the fire service said.
