Food giant recalls meat-free steaks over ingredient mistake

The presence of wheat (gluten), barley (gluten) and milk is therefore not mentioned on the label.

This makes the product a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat gluten, barley gluten and milk.

The recall applies to Batch codes and ‘best before’ end:

705081 (‘best before’ end December 2016) Tesco and Morrison’s Store Only

705118 (‘best before’ end January 2017) Tesco and Asda Stores Only

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to any of the above allergens, the advice is not to eat it.

Instead, return it to the store from where you bought it for a full refund.
