Granny robber found hiding in a lorry
AN elderly woman's robber who has repeatedly failed to attend court to be sentenced has been arrested.
Lynnette Oakey, 34, of City Road, Wigan, caused outrage when she knocked frail great grandma Vera Heyes to the ground outside a health centre as the pensioner went for a blood test on September 4.
Despite pleading guilty, Oakey has so far evaded justice.
But following an Evening Post appeal police received a tipoff from a member of public and it is understood she was found hiding in a lorry.
After appearing before magistrates she was remanded in custody to appear before Preston Crown Court on February 24.
