Huge plume of smoke after fire at Pagefield Mill
A fire broke out at Wigan's Pagefield Mill this evening.
Crews were called to the historic building next to Mesnes Park at around 9.30pm.
They found a blaze alight around the back of the mill at the Springfield end of the building.
The incident sent a huge plume of smoke high into the night sky above Wigan and visible from as far away as the Saddle junction.
