Zoe Unsworth, a singer from Leigh, is set to release her first EP this week with a launch event in Manchester, where she will be performing with her full band and supporting artist Susannah Clegg.
A singer from Leigh will be releasing her very first EP this week with a launch event in Manchester.
Zoe Unsworth, 27, has loved music and singing since she was 15 years old and grew a particular affinity for country music.
Most recently, she sang on stage with popular American country singer Riley Green which gave her even more support and increased her growing fanbase.

She said: “It’s something that I’ve always sang since I was about 15 and I’ve done all of the pubs and clubs around Wigan and the North West.”
“I’ve always been influenced by older stuff like Elvis and Dolly, especially. I was always falling into the trap of writing what was popular and then eventually I just wanted to write what I felt like was right for me and that just fell into being country.”
Now, Zoe will be bringing her full band to The Deaf Institute in Manchester on Thursday September 3 to launch her debut EP with support from Susannah Clegg.
The show will include guests and there will be limited merch available.
The EP will then officially launch on Friday September 11.

On the reaction to her singles so far, Zoe said: “They’ve had a really, really good response. They’ve got some BBC Radio play and they’ve been streamed in all sorts of mad places like Australia and America, so the response to them has been really good.”
Previously, Zoe’s singles have had more than 25,000 streams in the first week of their release.
In the future, Zoe hopes to take her music event further with a full album.
She said: “I think a full album would be nice and then just building more of a name for myself and getting to do the things I love to do, like getting more support slots.
“With country music becoming this bigger thing now, they’re bringing a lot of the American country artists over, so, there is an opportunity for the UK side to get involved as well.”
Zoe will be debuting her EP this week and there are are still a limited amount of tickets available for the show: https://www.thedeafinstitute.co.uk/event/zoe-unsworth/
