Lucky escape after oven blaze drama
TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire in Wigan.
Crews from Wigan and Hindley were called to Mornington Road, Hindley, at 6.20pm on Tuesday following reports of blaze at a house.
Food left burning in an oven had caused smoke and the home owners called the fire service.
Both people declined hospital treatment but were checked over for smoke inhalation.
