Man injured in M6 crash
A passenger was cut from his car after a collision on the motorway.
Fire crews from Wigan and Leigh attended the crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a van on the M6 northbound, between junction 25 at Ashton and 26 at Orrell at around 2am on Sunday.
The 19-year-old was a passenger in the Vauxhall and was taken to hospital with pelvic injuries.
No-one else was injured.
Lanes two and three were closed for an hour and were re-opened by 3am.
