A borough man who went missing this morning, sparking a police search, has been found safe and well.
Philip Howarth went missing from Tyldesley around 10am today, July 14. Police from GMP's Leigh, Atherton and Hindley division launched a mission person appeal on social media in response to the disappearance.
The force has since confirmed that Mr Howarth has been found safe and well.
