Aaron Cook was fatally injured when he fell from a motorway bridge into the path of a car driven by Mohamed Riaz. Now Riaz has admitted failing to stop, failing to report an accident and driving without insurance.

Riaz, 58, entered his pleas on the day he was due to stand trial at Preston Crown Court, and will return to be sentenced on July 6.

Today, Aaron’s mum Amanda said the family still didn’t know why he died. She added: “He meant absolutely everything to me. I know he was 16 but he was my baby.”
