CHARLES GRAHAM - John’s switch from bread rolls to acting roles

I interviewed him for the first time this week, not so much to talk about his rise to stardom by winning the Bake-Off, but his return to the stage.

People may not know of the 30-year-old’s acting ambitions when at Winstanley College before two academic changes of direction then sudden fame courtesy of his hobby.

But he is now to star in Wigan Little Theatre’s new production of Twelfth Night.
