The Colonel says: Olivia, firstly congratulations on your weight loss, this in itself is a big achievement!

Loose skin around the arms is extremely common in people who have lost weight and is a major worry for many people.

It is not just common in weight loss though; as you age your skin loses elasticity and thus begins to stretch down from your arms.

Both men and women can tend to store fat in their upper arms and although you can’t specifically target where you want to lose weight, combining burst of calorie-burning cardio with upper arm strengthening exercises will really help combat this excess skin.

Any exercise you do that decreases your body fat percentage will help you lose this excess fat on your arms, just as it will help you lose weight from other areas of your body.

The addition of extra strengthening exercises will help to sculpt your arms by building muscle.

Try and dedicate 10 minutes a day to an arm exercise routine and you will soon start to see results.

A sure arm sculpting exercise is the “Tricep Kickback.”

Firstly, choose weights suitable for you then stand with your feet shoulder width apart, bend your knees and lean forward slightly so your back is at a 45 degrees

angle.

Bend your elbows 90 degrees so your hands are in front of you and tuck your elbows into your side.

Then, extend your arms back behind you and slowly straighten your arms.

Hold this for two seconds, then return to your start potion and repeat eight to 10 times.

Ensure you incorporate this into your daily exercise routine and you’ll soon be waving goodbye to your “wobbly” arms in no time at all.
