OCTOBER - A really lovely story to follow up and so glad Hallie is doing so well - Hallie Campbell, seven, from Hindley, her life has changed since she went to Poland last year for pioneering surgery. A rare genetic disorder meant she couldn't walk, talk or sit up, and had painful seizures. Her family managed to raise £70,000 for the surgery and Hallie has made great progress. She has started talking, learning to walk and can sit unaided. Hallie pictured with mum Lucy Campbell, her partner Barry Gumbley and Hallie's sister Macy, ten.
