The group said on Facebook last night that it wanted to bring people together in “troubling and confusing times”

They said: “As our gigs tomorrow, and probably for the foreseeable future have been postponed, we thought we’d do one right in your living room. On your telly, in your hands or right on your laps.

“Tune into our Facebook page at 8pm for a full performance and a chat.

“We’ll take requests and play whatever you want.

“In these troubling and confusing times, let’s all get together in any way that we can.”

The band members of the group – Thom (vocals), Rob Lally (guitar), Katie Lloyd (bass) and Joe Singleton (drums) – met while attending schools in Leigh and formed at an open mic night.

Their first gig was at Colliers Rest in Leigh, and they have been working hard for the past 10 years.

They were “discovered” two years ago and signed to Warner Brothers. They have played around the country, including at Glastonbury Festival and supporting Sir Tom Jones, with plans to support Kaiser Chiefs and McFly this year.

They also continue to run open mic nights in Tyldesley and Atherton when they can to support other budding musicians.

Visit their Facebook page to watch tonight's performance.
