Wigan Athletic are preparing for life back in the Championship after roaring to victory against Shrewsbury Town on the last day of the League One season.
Leam Richardson’s men had had a couple of wobbly weeks after reaching the top of the table, but came good with a convincing 3-0 victory over the Shrews not only to secure promotion but also be crowned champions.
Thousands of fans later descended on Mesnes Park for a celebratory event with the squad.
