CLASS ACT - Marsh Green Primary School

We take a look at what pupils are up to at Marsh Green primary school, Wigan, as teacher Mr Beardsworth leads the Outdoor Learning programme. Each class has weekly sessions to learn from the curriculum in an outdoor environment. This term the emphasis is science, where children can experience nature first hand and observe new growth in Spring.

Children are encouraged to be as physically active as possible, using a range of equipment such as climbing frames, fitness equipment, scooters and tricycles during these lessons and at break times.
