People living in the Winstanley and Worsley Mesnes wards were invited to the meal, which was hosted by St Jude’s Social Club this year.
A buffet was provided by Carr Lane-based Cain’s Butchers.
Couns Clive Morgan and Paul Molyneux acted as hosts for the day and a quiz was provided by Coun Helen O’Neill.
Among those also in attendance was Wigan Council leader Coun David Molyneux and 98-year-old Mary Trannack, who was a Land Army girl.
