IN PICTURES: Remembrance Sunday 2022

Military veterans, dignitaries and marching bands paraded through the streets of Wigan town centre on Remembrance Sunday to honour those who served in the First World War. The procession, which began at the town hall, finished at the war memorial in All Saints' Gardens where the two-minute silence was observed before various organisations laid wreaths on the cenotaph.
