Armed forces veterans living in the borough were invited to lunch and entertainment at Wigan town hall. It was a thank-you event whose VIP guests included The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Diane Hawkins, and the city-region’s High Sheriff, Lorraine Worsley-Carter.
