Man's body found in Wigan

Police were called to reports of a body on Ravenswood Avenue shortly after 8am on Thursday.

Local reports said the incident happened in Blundell's Wood, with entrances to the green space being sealed off while the police worked at the scene, and the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) also attended.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
