Police become "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of a missing man from near Wigan

James Fitzmaurice was last seen at around 9.40am in Carfield, Skelmersdale on Monday (October 23).

The 56-year-old, who sometimes goes by Jimmy, is described as being 5ft 8in tall, cleanshaven with a shaven head and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black Montrex coat, which has red on the inside, a black cap, black tracksuit trousers and carrying a black holdall bag.

Jimmy has links to Skelmersdale.

Any immediate sightings of Jimmy should be reported to police via 999.
