Sneak peek: Wigan Little Theatre am-dram comedy rehearsal pictures

The curtain goes up this week at Wigan Little Theatre on a comedy set in the world of amateur dramatics. A Bunch of Amateurs is written by writer and broadcaster Ian Hislop and cartoonist and newspaper columnist Nick Newman, and it concerns a hard up theatre group who use a barn for rehearsals and hope that the talents of a faded Hollywood star will bail them out with a performance of King Lear.
