Special 'Covid' lodge for Wigan care home visitors to open
Residents and staff from Lakeside and Worthington Lake care homes in Standish gathered recently to watch as The Rawsthorne Retreat arrived and was placed between the homes.
The retreat, named after Lakeside resident, Alan Rawsthorn, has Covid-19 safety measures including two entrances, a perspex room divider and an automatic sanitisation system which ensure that residents and visitors can enjoy their visit to the care homes without worry.
