Teenager taken to hospital after car collides with pedestrian in Wigan

The incident happened on Warrington Road in Goose Green on Monday evening.

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said a teenage patient was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with suspected back injuries.

The emergency services were called to the scene of the collision at around 9.50pm on Monday.

The road had to be shut while the patient was treated.
