Independent Street Events, known for its flagships artisan markets around the North, launched at the Cotton Works as part of a new collaboration with the Heaton Group.
The launch of the market wasn’t easy after the council initially refused the market application but then allowed it.
The community turned out in force to support the market and there were sell outs galore with some traders reporting it was their best event yet.
The next market is scheduled for Sunday, November 9.
