Van fire on Wigan street

Crews were called to a vehicle ablaze in the early hours of the morning.

Firefighters went to the scene of the fire on Arnside Avenue in Ince at 1.09am on Saturday.

Crews from Wigan and Hindley fire stations quickly brought the flames under control and then made the scene safe.

The fire service left the incident just after 2am.

It is understood the blaze is being regarded as suspicious and details are being passed to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
