Visit Wigan Galleries and pick up a free red rose for your Valentine
Claudia Phillipson from the Wigan Galleries shopping centre marketing team will be ready for action today and tomorrow as she hands out 400 free Valentine’s Day roses to loved-up couples.
She and colleagues will be on Standishgate between 11am and 2pm and a string ensemble will also be on hand to serenade shoppers and get them in the romantic mood.
Centre manager Simon Tucker said: “Whether you consider yourself a romantic or not Valentine’s is a great excuse for a bit of fun.”
