Wigan church's annual rosary procession will include special prayers for Ukraine
Special prayers will be said for war-torn Ukraine when a Wigan church’s congregation holds its annual rosary walk.

It will be Winstanley St Aidan’s 149th such ceremony when it takes place at 2pm on Sunday October 2, starting at the neighbouring social club car park and making its way into church for a benediction service.
Parishioner Tom Walsh said: “We always pray for world peace at the walk, but special prayers will be said for those who are suffering terribly in Ukraine this year.”
