Police appeal after Boxing Day assault

Officers are hunting a man in connection with a robbery, an assault and burglary.

Craig William Shelley, 28, is wanted after a man was punched to the head and face and had his car keys stolen during an incident which occurred on December 26 2016 on Ormskirk Road, Up Holland.

He is also wanted in connection with an assault on November 20th 2016, when a woman received bites to her neck, as well as a burglary on the same date. Both occurred in the Greater Manchester area.

Shelley has links to Skelmersdale and Orrell in Greater Manchester and is also wanted on recall to prison.

A spokesman for Skelmersdale Police said: “We are making enquiries to find Craig Shelley and would urge anyone who has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts, to contact us. We would also urge Mr Shelley, if he sees this appeal, to contact us as soon as possible and make arrangements to hand himself in.”

Shelley is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, with blue eyes and of medium build.
