An application has been submitted by Provincial Property Holiday Ltd for the development on the farm.

Under the bid, an existing home on the site would be demolished and the plot then used to build the three-bedroom properties.

Each property will include a single car parking space and the site will be accessible from Sandy Lane.

A planning document submitted as part of the application reads: “The site is not of any notable historic value.

“A demolition notice approval has been received.”

It added: “The proposed homes are market appropriate for the surrounding area and have been designed to meet the local housing demands.”
